"Unlearning Saint Louis" was a graduate seminar held at Washington University,
St. Louis, Missouri, during the 2004-2005 school year. Participating students were invited to examine their own knowledge of the city of St. Louis, however deep or tenuous. Special emphasis was placed on "unlearning" received notions of the city, particularly the various dominant connections between society and geography that unfold there. |
